The rate of people living without a home in the United States is alarming, with the most populated cities being the most affected parts. Although the rate was seen to decrease between 2010 and 2020, the number of homeless people remains high in the country. One of the biggest contributors to the problem is the lack of affordable housing. In most cities, rental rates have increased compared to wages.
