ABU DHABI, 28th March, 2020 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Police Ramadan Football Tournament, organized by the Protocol and Public Relations Department of the Finance and Services Sector, was launched at the Al Ain Police Officers Club, with the participation of 11 teams from various police departments and government institutions, and it will continue until Ramadan 25, in the presence of Major General Khalifa Muhammad Al Khaili, Sector Director Finance and Services, Brigadier General Juma Salem Al Kaabi, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, and a number of officers and associates.
During the inauguration of the tournament, Major General Khalifa Mohammed Al Khaili stressed the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to encourage sports competitions among all Abu Dhabi Police personnel, raise the cultural level of the importance of sports, and work to achieve communication and interaction in sports participation.
The participating teams in the Ramadan tournament are the Al Ain Region Police Directorate, Special Tasks Department “A” and “B”, Shooting and Field Applications Department, Al Ain City Municipality, Customs Department, Department of Economic Development, Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Al Ain Distribution Company, Tawam Hospital and Al Ain Club for People of Determination.
