Irfan’s side said the prosecutor’s prosecution met formal and material requirements.

The trial then continued on the agenda for the examination of witnesses. Chief Justice Afrizal Hadi said the examination of witnesses with defendant Irfan will take place on 26 October.
“Since there are no exceptions, the trial will be presented for examination by witnesses on Thursday 26 October,” Afrizal said.
Accused of obstructing the investigation into Joshua’s murder case
AKP Irfan Widyanto was charged with tampering with CCTV cameras that obstructed the investigation into Joshua Hutabarat’s murder. Irfan and five other defendants did this.
“The accused intentionally and without rights or against the law has taken any action that caused the electronic system to be interrupted and / or caused the electronic system to malfunction,” said the prosecutor reading the indictment before the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Wednesday (10/19/2022).
The other five defendants in question are Police Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo, AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Brigadier General Hendra Kurnia and Kombes Agus Nurpatria Adi Purnama. They were charged with separate files.
Irfan was charged with Article 49 joint Article 33 and Article 48 joint Article 32 paragraph (1) of Law no. 19 of 2016 containing Amendments to Law no. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) joint Art. 55 paragraph 1 of the criminal code and art. 233 of the criminal code and art. 221 paragraph 1 2nd joint Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the criminal code.
