Today, the Ajman Chamber concluded its participation in the “Halal” International Trade and Tourism Conference and Exhibition in the Azerbaijani capital, “Baku,” in which it participated with the aim of promoting investment opportunities in the emirate and expanding the network of trade relations. at an international level.

The Ajman Chamber was represented at the conference by His Excellency Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salmeen Al-Eryani, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and 20 countries participated in it, organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency. and supported by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the International Islamic Business Association, and various relevant institutions.

The activities of the conference covered the areas of “food and beverages, tourism, financial transactions, developments in the halal sector, investment opportunities in halal products and services, and other areas.” and entrepreneurs specializing in halal products and services participated in the Halal discussion sessions.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Salmeen Al-Ariani emphasized the importance of the “Halal” Conference and Exhibition as a global platform to strengthen trade and investment partnerships between participating countries and an opportunity to discuss reality and time the future of the Halal sector and its impact on the development of the global economy.

He said the event reflects the steady expansion of the market for halal products and services worldwide, explaining that statistics show growth in the size of the global halal market to about $3 trillion in ‘ this year, and it is expected that the size of the halal market will increase to $5 trillion by the year 2030.

He stressed that the halal economy provides promising investment opportunities as it is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world as it covers several areas, including food and beverages , tourism, finance and other areas.

He said that the participation of the Ajman Chamber in the Halal Conference comes within the framework of its efforts to support economic development in the Emirate of Ajman, increase competitiveness and attract investment, explaining that the A room to hold a group of bilateral meetings during the partnership. with delegations and partner companies to discuss cooperation opportunities, exchange tours, and organize special forums in the future.
