The AFIP opened the registration of companies to receive credits at a subsidized rate and REPRO II

The ATP Program is part of the different policies implemented by the Government to cushion the economic impact of the pandemic. The possibility of accessing each of the benefits depends on the type of activity carried out by the company and / or the nominal variation in its turnover level.

To face the different realities that the Argentine productive network is going through in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ATP Program complemented the Subsidized Rate Credits with the REPRO II implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security. The possibility of accessing each of the benefits depends on the type of activity carried out by the company and / or the nominal variation in its turnover level.

Companies that do not carry out critical activities and record a negative nominal variation in their billing between the months of November 2020 and 2019. They may choose between processing a 27% Subsidized Rate Credit or requesting REPRO II, which is implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security. Employers who decide to process the REPRO II must collect and submit the latest balance sheet along with a set of economic data about the company through the ATP Program web service. The information is required by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security.

Companies not critically affected that register a positive nominal variation in their turnover from 0% to 35%. Employers may request a 33% Subsidized Rate Credit. The credits will have a grace period of 3 months and the repayment is made in 12 equal and consecutive installments. Companies that meet the job creation goals established by the Ministry of Productive Development may receive a total or partial refund at the end of the loan repayment.

The companies that access the Subsidized Rate Credits will have a grace period of 3 months so that the reimbursement will be made from the fourth month in 12 equal and consecutive monthly installments. Employers that meet the employment goals established by the Ministry of Productive Development and cancel the credit will receive a total or partial refund of the benefit through FONDEP.

How to process a Subsidized Rate Credit?

The system to process credits will be enabled on December 30. The process to access financing begins through the AFIP website. Qualified employers will enter the “Work and Production Assistance Program” service with a tax code, where they must select the Subsidized Rate Credit option.

The system will determine and report the maximum amount that each employer can access. Taxpayers must enter an email address since the process is completed in the selected bank.
