There is a noticeable inconsistency in the children’s fairy tale.
“The Adventures of Buratino” is an excellent example of Soviet cinema for children. The bright fairy tale looks great even now. And even the younger generation knows the songs from the film.
Even the presence of a significant film blunder did not spoil the impression of the film. Although he is constantly present on the screen, and attentive viewers can see him at any moment.
Take a closer look at Pinocchio’s nose. It changes length several times throughout the film. If you compare the beginning and end of “Adventures”, it becomes clear: the tip has grown by about 15 centimeters.
That’s a lot for a doll, isn’t it? This is because the makeup part was made from foam plastic anew for each shooting day.
The prop people had to make about 40 noses. All of them were created by hand, so the shape and even sizes changed.
