Adama Kamara praised the advantages of new social protection instruments for the populations of Haut-Sassandra (DR)
In Daloa where he was staying as part of the 5th edition of the ”Ronde du social”, the Minister of Employment and Social Protection (Meps), Adama Kamara, met, on July 22, civil servants, traders and craftsmen from the Haut-Sassandra region. The government authority, which led a strong delegation made up of close collaborators and officials of national social protection institutions (Cgrae, Cnps, Cnam), urged its guests to subscribe massively to the new social security products put in place by the State of Côte d’Ivoire. Namely the complementary insurance by capitalization or “the Complementary”, the Universal health cover (Cmu) and the Social system of the independent workers (Rsti).
The director of ”la Complémentaire” insurance at the General State Employees’ Pension Fund (Cgrae), Fatou Fofana Soro, made
a detailed presentation on the supplementary funded pension scheme to civil servants and State agents who came in large numbers to the home of the regional prefect. The Cgrae representative explained the mode of membership and the various advantages of this new product to her audience.
On the same day of Saturday, the Minister exchanged with the members of the Haut-Sassandra Chamber of Trades. He told them about the benefits of the Social Regime for the Self-Employed and Universal Health Coverage. “Dear craftsman friends, I am happy to be with you. Because I came to bring an important message from the President of the Republic. I came to present to you the advantages of the Cmu and the Rsti”, launched Adama Kamara. Before adding that these social protection instruments were created to substantially improve the living conditions of Ivorians, regardless of their social conditions.
