The administration is pushing the country towards a tunnel – it will lead to protests and elections –

/ world today news/ BSP is the only opposition and that is indisputable. It will be very difficult to implement the requests of Radan Kanev and some of the reformers. Because the politics they participated in is right-wing politics.

This was stated by the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, to Nova TV.

Half of Bulgarians live in poverty, 10 thousand fewer children were born this year. The biggest problem is that today’s right-wing government is pushing the country towards a tunnel, towards a fog. Social payments are being frozen again, as was the case with the “Borisov” cabinet 1. According to Mikov, the government’s policies have failed. Take energy – today it is in the worst condition. Last year at this time there were requests that some contracts with the American power plants would happen, they have not happened yet because the energy holding cannot withdraw credit. At the same time, there are difficulties with payments – there may soon be a problem with salaries, only TPP – 2 pays, the state text, the leftist leader emphasized.

According to him, people cannot fail to remember how incomes increased under their rule, how the birth rate increased. If they don’t see it, they pay. They will also pay the loan of BGN 16 billion. Since there are no revenues in the budget, they will fill the deficit with this debt, said Mikov and predicted a debt spiral.

According to him, the BSP has a clear position on the judicial reform – the constitution cannot be changed for its own sake. Mr. Kanev’s quarrels inside the kitchen of the ruling majority is an internal problem – he cannot be an opposition. Objectively, there is no way a right-wing party can be an opposition to a right-wing government.

We are the only ones who raise the issue of considering the reports of the Supreme Court and Supreme Court. Until they will not fulfill their constitutional obligations. The deadline is the end of March to bring them in. This discussion should be implemented in the parliament, Mikov pointed out.

A year was lost without any legislation being introduced in regard to the judiciary. Oligarchy is the main supporting factor of right-wing rule. Borisov emerged as a project of Global Bulgaria. The power structure was on these 5-6 percent richest. Citizens’ democracy cannot go through money. Corporations expect weak countries to exist. In our time, it was not like that, emphasized Mikov.

Early elections is a matter that can be developed objectively. Objectively, the circumstances will lead to early elections. When – the question is how long citizens will be able to endure. There is a risk that after the increase in the minimum wage, many workers in the private sector will switch to a 4-hour workday. It is possible that there will be protests, that people will not be able to tolerate this policy that is being conducted.

The reality in Bulgaria should not be replaced by such organized protests, Mikov believes. There are thousands of people who live on the edge of poverty. We will try to help these people realize things. The BSP will think about the presidential elections after the New Year holidays, now they were thinking about how people will get through the winter. Let’s see what will happen to energy in the winter, let’s see what will happen to health care, commented Mikov. According to him, there is social insecurity. The big questions here are what the government is doing – to tell young families what it is doing, said the BSP chairman.
