The 106 workers employed in the Atelier 3.000 adapted work company in Fleurus risk losing their jobs.
This Thursday, its managers announced the end of activities during an extraordinary works council attesting at the same time to the difficulties that the site had been experiencing for several months.
Atelier 3.000 specializes in packaging, filming, enveloping, direct mail, e-commerce. It counts in particular as customers Carrefour, Wonderbox or Bpost. Many of the staff she employs suffer from mild disabilities.
The health crisis would have dealt a fatal blow to activities. The unions, however, point to mismanagement whose roots go back many months.
In 2017, the company was taken over. It seems that this was not enough to relaunch activities definitively.
