In April, AMC greenlit ‘Orphan Black: Echoes’ the spin-off of ‘Orphan Black’ that will not feature Tatiana Maslany but will another charismatic actress leading the cast: Krysten Ritter.
The return of the clones
AMC confirmed what Krysten Ritter to Star in ‘Orphan Black: Echoes’in which she will play the role of Lucy, described as a woman with surprising origins trying to find her place in the world.
‘Orphan Black’ is the Space and BBC America series that told us the story of Sarah (Tatiana Maslany, who we can now see in ‘She-Hulk’), a woman who discovers that she has several clones and between all of them they are involved in the mysterious goings-on of the laboratory that made their birth possible.

‘Echoes’ is his continuation and will be set in the near future, where a plot of scientific manipulation will take place in which he will be involved another group of women who will want to unravel the mysteries of their existence. Along the way, they will develop bonds with each other but there will also be betrayals.
Ritter is a habitual face in the television mediumwhere he has participated in series such as ‘Jessica Jones’, ‘The Defenders’, ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Apartment 23’ in important roles, and has also had stellar appearances in mythical series such as ‘Veronica Mars’, ‘Gilmore Girls’ and ‘Until death do us part’.
‘Orphan Black: Echoes’ tendrá 10 episodes and will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2023. Anna Fishko (‘Fear The Walking Dead’) and John Fawcett (co-creator of the original series) will be the executive producers of this spin-off.
