The death of actress Kotajná was apparently sudden. Actor and drummer Filip Čáp informed about the death of his classmate from the conservatory on his Facebook profile. The reaction below the post indicates that no one expected it.

According to Čáp, Kotajná died on Sunday, other people stated in the comments that she died at night from Saturday to Sunday. However, no one specified the cause. The actress was only 49 years old.

Probably her most famous role is the young nurse Venda from the comedy Let’s Sing a Song Around. She also appeared in the TV movie The Ghost of Canterville, Miss Guru, and also in the first episode of the TV series Nova Policajti z předměstí.
