The Lord of the Rings -the actor Ian McKellen, 85, known as Gandalf in the movies, reveals that he is not ready to retire yet. Instead, he says he’s ready to return to his legendary role as Gandalf.

– I heard that there would be a sequel to the film and Gandalf would be involved. They hope I would still play him, McKellen reveals to the magazine.

In an interview with BBC Breakfast, the actor also admits that he has no intention of retiring for a while.

– I will continue as long as my legs, lungs and mind work, he told the BBC.

In June, McKellen fell off the stage of a theater in London. He fell off the stage headfirst onto a woman in the audience. Now the actor has talked about his recovery and current health in an interview with Big Issue.

– I feel physically weak.

McKellen also reveals that he plans to take some time for himself and take the rest of the year off from work.
