We bid farewell to the actor, dancer and transformer Fabián Acri, with an extensive and distinguished career in theater, film, television and humorous-musical shows. Our condolences to their relatives, friends and colleagues, accompanying them in this sad moment.

He began in the performing arts in 1979, creating the Sanromanense Theater Company with Carlos Parrilla. He studied at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art. Later, he continued his training with Manuel González Gil, Carlos de Urquiza, Carlos Gandolfo and Rodolfo Graziano, and dances in the studio of Moira Chapman.

He was a member of the Catarsis Group, the Fama Group and the Fantastic Theater Group. In 1982 he was part of the Open Theater and Open Dance cycles. In 1984 she made her debut as a drag queen with the Strass Group, winning awards and recognitions. From the ’90s to 2002 he dedicated himself exclusively to transformism, becoming one of the most important references in the country, presenting shows such as Diva por dos, Acrí I’m, 100% Acri, Derroche and Las 90-90-90 . In 2012 he resumed his activity as a theater actor.

His extensive theatrical career includes titles such as The Woman of the Year, Sugar, La Jaula de las locas, El deluge that comes, Jettatore, El Conventillo de la Paloma, I’m not leaving here, Playing with the body, The magazine of general unemployment, Uncovered, Life begins tomorrow, Intrigue on board, Irma the sweet.

On his return to the theater in 2012 he worked on The perfect three M and the Knight of Light, Poster boy, Waiting for mom, But it would kill you, 30 years is nothing, Among friends, AIDS the musical, Two old whores, Kill al taxi boy, Pornography by mistake, among others.

On television, he worked on Finalísima del humor, No toca button, Monumental Moria, The thousand and one of Sapag, The infidel, Sexitante, The portraits of Andrés, Oh Susana, The kittens and the mice of Porcel, Dear Sandro. In cinema he participated in the films Como la sombra tenue de un leaf, Cipayos, Prisioneros, Romeo and Julieta – with a tango rhythm.

In advertising, he worked as an actor, as a jingle singer and as a dubber. He gave acting classes at the El Conventillo Theater and was also a choreographer, makeup artist, director and producer.
