The well-known actor Pablo Rivero has presented his third novel, ‘The girls who dreamed of being seen’, a “disturbing” story full of intrigue that delves into the 40th Book Fair that takes place these days in the Paseo de San Francisco de Badajoz the reader in the world of advertising and the dangers of overexposure in social networks, “when moral perversion and the desire to be seen come together.”
All this within a plot with a “very important” structure so that the reader does not get lost in the events that are happening; “disturbing and rugged, which captivates by its enigmatic characters, its surprising twists and its shocking ending”, according to the Badajoz City Council in a press release.
“Dark style work because all the audiovisual culture that he has consumed since he was a child is related to murky events, with stories that he cannot stop looking at, terrible stories that hide a lot of psychology, they lead a normal person to a terrible situation” he continued, together with the fact that, in this case, it focuses “on disturbance, on moral perversion, on evil because yes, those people who are bad not because of psychological problems.”
In the same way, it has influenced that the dangers that “unconscious” young people are suffering in social networks without knowing who is behind it is one of the central axes of the novel, since data is provided through the networks “without giving us account “, something that” serves for those who are there, waiting to find whom to deceive, as is the case with an advertising agency. “
The Basque Country is the environment in which this work takes place in which Laura García Hernández, a 14-year-old girl, has disappeared. The last time she was seen was entering a well-known shopping center, when she was going on a mysterious date. A few days later, she appears dismembered in the parking lot on the ground floor.
