Iranian Elnaz Rekabi became world famous when she competed without a hijab in South Korea. It now emerges that the family home has been demolished.
On Saturday evening, Iranian state authorities confirmed that Elnaz Rekabi’s family home had been demolished.
The 33-year-old really shot to fame when she competed without a head covering in a climbing championship in South Korea. Rekabi thus violated the regime’s requirement that Iranian women must compete in the hijab.
