The mansion doesn’t look like a star’s home.
Despite the fact that Yuri Shatunov preferred to spend most of his free time in Germany with his family, he also had real estate in his homeland. For example, in Sochi, the artist owned a small mansion. In his youth, the performer held noisy parties here with friends, but in recent years he rarely came to the cottage.
Nevertheless, Shatunov was in no hurry to sell the mansion, always remembering the days spent in Sochi with warmth. The two-story “villa” of the ex-soloist of “Tender May” in the village of Baranovka, although it has an impressive size, is a rather inconspicuous and old building, especially compared to neighboring luxurious houses.
Since the death of the singer, the building has been abandoned. The garden was overgrown with weeds, the gates were heavily rusted and covered with a dense net of ivy. Near the fence, the artist’s fans leave notes, bouquets of flowers and soft toys. Only these things now remind us that the house once belonged to a Russian star.
