A hostile world

Desert Rose is published by Éditions David. It depicts a world where families continue to survive as best they can behind a “curtain” that protects them from fatal drops in pressure.

Young Rose hates everything and everyone – she is even asexual – and locks herself into a fierce solitude… until problems force her to take a step towards others to find solutions.

Desert Rose takes up the universe and some key characters from the Paloma’s Secretpublished in 2021. The AAOF jury says it rewards here a “skillful pen” offering “a captivating story, brimming with imagination”.
