NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) will broadcast the music program “The 74th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” today, December 31st, from 7:20 pm. Broadcast time is until 23:45.
“NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” is a large-scale music program that has been broadcast on New Year’s Eve every year since 1951, pitting the Red and White teams against each other. The 74th edition of the program, which has the theme of “Borderless – Connecting New Year’s Eve,” will feature Ado, New School Leaders, Tatsuya Kitani, Sutopurira, 5 Red Groups, and 8 White Groups. There will be 22 singers in both the red and white groups, including singers appearing for the first time. The event will be hosted by entertainer Hiroyuki Ariyoshi, actresses Kanna Hashimoto and Minami Hamabe, and announcer Kozo Takase. The radio hosts will be announcers Kenta Watanabe and Marie Morita.
