The 7 writers who will be in Bastia for Libri Mondi 2020

To get together in the time of the coronavirus, it seems that the best is to do this outdoors, in a place spacious enough so that we can sit quietly without finding ourselves huddled together. That’s good, this has been the formula of the Libri Mondi festival for several years now.

It therefore takes place again this year, mainly in the high-altitude gardens of the citadel overlooking the old port of Bastia. So much the better. It’s a great place to listen to writers handpicked by a combination of passionate readers. In previous years, for example, we were treated to Jean Rolin, Patrick Deville, Maylis de Kerangal, Jérôme Ferrari, Eric Vuillard, Philippe Jaenada, Pauline Dreyfus, Kaouther Adimi, Robert McLiam Wilson or even Iain Levison. We pass, it’s just to give an idea of the general level.

This time again, there is neither too much nor too little, since the guest writers are seven in number. Good number, seven. That leaves the possibility of hearing them all, tirelessly, whistling a Pietra beer. or a glass of Muscat from Domaine Marengo between two talks. But enough chatter, it’s time to roll out the full program:
