Doctors note that about 50% of those infected with coronavirus carry the disease asymptomatically. Moreover, 80% have symptoms resembling ARVI.
Among the main signs, experts point out an increased body temperature of up to 37-38 degrees. It is usually higher with the flu. Cough is another characteristic symptom. It occurs in 8 out of 10 cases.
Confusion, fatigue and body aches can be warning signs.
Infected people often complain of loss of smell, shortness of breath, and pressing chest pain. Moreover, the latter is noted less often – in 20% of cases. People who get sick also have diarrhea, vomiting, and arrhythmias.
Experts note that coronavirus can cause severe neurological signs that the patient himself may not notice – such symptoms resemble the clinical picture of encephalopathy.
Sometimes skin lesions can also be signals of coronavirus infection. One of the most common is urticaria.
