Admission to all activities is free.

AcceCine also promotes a short film contest and the holding of workshops, discussions and master classes (in-person and virtual) by specialists in the field of cultural accessibility and new technologies; as well as special film events for children with disabilities called “Inclusive Children’s Cinema”, to be held in Lima, Cusco and Piura, thanks to the Cineplanet chain.

At the same time, it will have decentralized headquarters in Cañete, Mala, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancayo, Piura, Sullana, Ica and Chimbote.

It is important to mention that, since its first edition to date, the AcceCine Festival has managed to adapt 14 Peruvian films to accessible formats, with the aim that the population with visual and hearing disabilities can enjoy films made in Peru.

The AcceCine Festival aims to create spaces where people with any type of disability can access the enjoyment of cinema through films with audio description and descriptive subtitling, elements that provide universal accessibility to cultural content. In addition, it promotes the use of audiovisual accessibility systems to inform and raise awareness among the general public about the need to make Peruvian films with these systems as a way to democratize access to culture for all.

The fifth edition of the AcceCine Festival is a non-profit cultural initiative organized by Collective Media, Junta de Apoyo Para Personas Invidentes-JAPPI and Iqorama and has the support of the Ministry of Culture, Cultural Center of Spain in Lima, Universidad Continental, Cineplanet , Dolby and EGEDA Peru.
