The Cologne Mosque in Germany is a religious building commissioned by German Muslims, but it looks for all intents and purposes like a building from another planet or a space station merged with a Mandalorian helmet. An architectural work that surprises everyone.
Century Pavilion (China)
The Century Pavilion created for the China Flower Expo Festival It is in the shape of a giant butterfly and is located in the northern part of the exhibit. A totally particular architecture that also stands out for its high color bet.
Big Basket in Ohio (United States)
Building Big Basket en Newark, Ohio, it was built as the headquarters for the Longaberger Company, an American manufacturer of handmade maplewood baskets. It is one of the most famous examples of camouflage architecture, where buildings are designed to mimic or represent objects associated with their function. In the case of the Big Basket building, it was designed to replicate the company’s best-selling product, the Medium Market Basket, but 160 times larger.
Fish Building (India)
Fish Building is a regional office of the National Fisheries Development Board, located near Hyderabad, India. The four-story building was reportedly inspired by Frank Gehry’s monumental sculpture “Peix” or “Fish” in Barcelona, completed in 1992. The building officially opened in April 2012.
Tondo (Brussels)
“Tondo” is an office project of KGDVS. An elevated walkway connecting the representative offices with their most recent additions. The building is conceived as a spatial element rather than a technical solution, the bridge takes the form of an inclined ring, covered with mirror panels that hide the interior by reflecting the surrounding environment.
