the 5 best cities to invest in

For several years, the purchase prices of Parisian housing have continued to climb. So much so that we quickly find ourselves demoralized when the mad desire to become an owner caresses our minds. And if we went to see the side of the small and large crown?

More and more coveted cities

You may already know that a major project is underway in the Paris region. The Grand Paris Express is four new metro lines (15, 16, 17 and 18), 200 km of automatic lines and 68 new stations by 2030. And who says new metro lines necessarily means shortening of travel time and opening up of cities. “The arrival of the metro has played a role in accelerating growth in these rapidly transforming cities”, explains Thomas Lefebvre, scientific director of Best Agents. The anticipation has already been noted since according to the Meilleur Agents site, the biggest price increases concern the stations with the earliest opening date. For example, line 14, opened at the end of 2020, is home to the station that has increased the most for 5 years: Mairie de St-Ouen (+ 55%).

To help you in your research, Meilleur Agents has selected the municipalities that they believe will be the winners of Greater Paris. We therefore find in the first place St Denis (€ 4,130 per m2), followed by Villejuif (5,250 € per m2), Bobigny (€ 3,022 per m2), Bagneux (€ 5,545 per m2) then Gennevilliers (€ 4,300 per m2). Thanks to the arrival of line 15, the inhabitants of Bobigny and Gennevilliers will, for example, be able to reach La Défense in 25 and 10 minutes respectively, compared to 45 and 35 minutes currently.

The cheapest stations

Among the cheapest stations, we find at the top of the ranking Sevran-Beaudottes (€ 2,452 per m2) which is located on metro line 16, but also Clichy Montfermeil (€ 2,504 per m2), Sevran-Livry (€ 2,643 per m2) and Aulnay (€ 2,682 per m2). You have been warned!
