The 4th China-Mongolia Expo: Deepening Exchanges and Cooperation for Inner Mongolia’s High-Quality Economic Development

From September 6th to 10th, the 4th China-Mongolia Expo will be held in Hohhot. The China-Mongolia Expo has been successfully held three times before. Through the China-Mongolia Expo, Inner Mongolia has deepened exchanges and cooperation with Mongolia, expanded the circle of friends in countries along the “Belt and Road”, strengthened economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges, and expanded Inner Mongolia’s international exchanges. At present, Inner Mongolia has established trade relations with more than 160 countries and regions. The spillover effect of the China-Mongolia Expo on the high-quality economic development of Inner Mongolia continues to emerge.

“The China-Mongolia Expo is the largest exposition that Mongolia has co-organized with other countries. The goal of US$10 billion in trade and economic growth agreed upon by the two heads of state has been achieved. It has played an important role. The fourth China-Mongolia Expo will play an important role in realizing the goal of increasing the trade volume set by the two heads of state to 20 billion U.S. dollars.” Said at the special press conference of the 4th China-Mongolia Expo.

As an important window for building a new development pattern and serving the country’s opening up to the north, the China-Mongolia Expo provides an open international cooperation platform for enterprises from various countries to deepen cooperation and share opportunities in terms of trade promotion, investment cooperation, and cultural exchanges. This international platform is an important bridge and link for Inner Mongolia to jointly build the “Belt and Road” with high quality and promote “policy communication, facility connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration, and people-to-people bonds.”
