The 47th Orvecame Isla Tenerife Rally (October 22 and 23), a scoring event for the Canary Islands Asphalt Rally Championship (CCRA) and the Spanish Historical Vehicle Rally Championship (CERVH) has already published its official entry list. A test that will finally have 73 teams in the CCRA and 52 teams in the CERVH, a complete success of participation in both championships.
Among the most outstanding teams of both championships, we will have Miguel Ángel Suárez-Daniel Sosa in the CRRA with Skoda Fabia, currently second in the regional classification; Luis Monzón- José Carlos Deniz, with the same unit and provisional third place. This test becomes key for these two teams that, even with mathematical options for the 2021 Canarian championship, will have to secure the runner-up first. But there will be more Rally 2 vehicles: Víctor Abreu-Luis Rodríguez will leave with the repaired Skoda Rally 2; the Citroen C3 Rally 2 commanded by the Terratraining driver Francisco López who is currently following the Spanish Super Championship for Asphalt and Gravel Rallies, or championship regulars Fran Suárez (Ford Fiesta Rally 2) and Javier Afonso (Ford Evo II Rally 2 ).
This Thursday, October 21, there will be delivery of optional documentation and verifications; and on Friday 22, the scrutineering, the start of the rally and the holding of two of its specials will take place.
The test will have 2 stages, a total of 9 specials and 107kms of timed section, passing through up to 11 municipalities, being Santa Cruz de Tenerife the epicenter of the test, hosting in the Parque Marítimo and Palmetum de Santa Cruz all the main infrastructure of the test: Verification Park, Departure and Arrival, Assistance Park and Permanent Office.
