Earthquake magnitude (M) 4.7 occurs at Bandung district, West Java. The quake was centered at sea.
BMKG reported that the earthquake occurred on Saturday (22/5/2021), around 22.47 WIB. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 32 kilometers.
“The epicenter was in the sea 126 km southwest of Bandung Regency,” wrote @infoBMKG.
The epicenter of the earthquake is at the coordinates of 8.10 south latitude and 107.17 east longitude. The strength of the earthquake was felt by MMI II-III in Cimaung.
MMI II means vibrations are felt by several people, light objects that are hanging are shaking while MMI III means vibrations are felt real in the house and vibrations feel as if a truck is passing by. Until now there has been no information regarding the impact of the earthquake.
