The 30th anniversary concert of the choir «Kamēr…» will be available live on LSM.lv / Article / LSM.lv

One of the leading Latvian choirs – the youth choir “Kamēr …” – starts its 30th anniversary celebrations with a concert in the Riga Dome on September 12. The live broadcast of the concert will be shown on the public media portal LSM.lv at 19.00 and listened to on Latvian Radio 3 “Klasika”.

The choir’s anniversary will be celebrated with a number of musical events, in which the choir will reveal to its listeners the various aspects of its activities – in addition to high-quality vocal abilities, cooperation and stage skills, which are also very characteristic of the choir.

The first of the anniversary events on September 12 will be a vocal symphonic music concert “Lux aeterna” together with the State Chamber Orchestra “Sinfonietta Riga”. It will feature compositions by composers Pēteris Butāns and Rihards Dubras, as well as Jēkabs Jančevskis’ new work “How to Say a Song” with the words of Knut Skujenieks, which is dedicated to the choir’s anniversary and will have its world premiere tonight.
