The 30 proposals of the Health Insurance (…) / CFDT Retired

Each year, the National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam) publishes its annual report on the financial development of Health Insurance intended to prepare the Social Security financing bill (PLFSS).

Judging that “the period that our country is going through is undoubtedly unprecedented in its health history”, the report contains 30 proposals. Their purpose is to “deal with very short-term emergencies, particularly in terms of access to care, and better meet the health needs of the population, whether unscheduled care or coordinated care for chronic diseases, the elderly and people with disabilities”.

Among these proposals, we can mention:

strengthen the care pathway for heart failure and give diabetic patients the means to be fully involved in their health thanks to digital innovations;

- improve the rate of participation in organized cancer screenings (breast, cervix, colorectal);

- deploy a toolbox to improve access to a general practitioner and new levers to fight against medical deserts, in particular by finalizing a structural framework for the teleconsultation activity;

- improve access to “unscheduled care” during the day (consultation/visit without an appointment) to relieve emergency room congestion;

- continue to improve financial access to certain particularly costly treatments for patients in the extension of 100% Santé: orthodontics for children, hair prostheses (wigs for women undergoing chemotherapy) and insoles

orthopedics.
