2020 was a very difficult year for everyone due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus. Nobody expected so many months of confinement. In the case of UK, the country registered the highest annual death toll since World War II, with more than 600 thousand deaths.
The Covid-19 took many trips, weddings, jobs, projects, and more, no one even saved the British royal family he had to suspend the great wedding of Princess Beatriz, daughter of Prince Andrew, and could only have a small ceremony.
Another event that was canceled was the Trooping the Color, a parade held in June that brings together more than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians to commemorate the official birthday (when it was crowned) of the Queen isabel II.
But this year that has just begun, let’s hope it goes better, for now, at De10.mx we tell you the top three events in British royalty for 2021.
1. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, turns 100 in 2021
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, has been ruling alongside Queen Elizabeth for over 60 years. Although he has already retired from his public responsibilities due to his age, the fact that he is going to turn 100 is not something that can be left out.
The Duke was born on June 10, 1921, in Greece. He is the son of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Greece and Denmark. Together with the queen he had four children, Prince Charles and heir to the crown, Princess Anne, Prince Andres and Prince Edward.

2. In 2021, it will be the 10th wedding anniversary of Prince William and Kate Middleton
Prince Willian and the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, will be married for ten years in 2021. The couple married on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey, in what was one of the most anticipated and widely watched royal weddings.
Since their marriage, the future kings have had three children, Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018.
But it is not only that, they also meet 20 years of meeting, because while both were studying in 2001, at the University of St. Andrews, in Scotland, they became friends and even went to live together for a while, where most likely the love.

3. Two new babies arrive in the British royal family in 2021… and counting
The arrival of two royal babies has been officially confirmed. The first is that of Princess Eugenia, who married Jack Brooksbank in 2018. It would be the couple’s first child and they expect it to arrive early in the year.
The second baby is that of Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall with her husband, Mike Tindall. This child would be the third of the couple, since they already have Mia, 6 years old, and Lena, 2 years old. The news was confirmed by the proud dad during a podcast a month ago. There is no official date of birth.
Another who is pregnant is Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, and well, she’s not from the royal family, but her oldest nephew will be king one day, so their kids are sure to play together.
The year is just beginning, so more babies are likely to come out over time. Maybe one from Princess Beatrice, or Meghan Markle! We will have to wait…
