This is the first meeting that begins the landing – a political dialogue in the BSP in the Pazardzhik region. The meeting was also attended by Georgi Petarneichev, regional chairman of the BSP – Pazardzhik. According to Stoilov, citizens feel harmed by the so-called Transition. “The losses in industry and agriculture are great. The neoliberal policy of our party in recent years has distanced it from some primitive values,” he added. According to him, the BSP has chosen to remain in the opposition and this choice was correct. “We will continue to be a constructive and categorical opposition. Our commitments are unwavering to be carried out in this management format, where GERB and DPS create management modules on many financial and economic issues,” he also told nearly 200 party activists and members of the public.
Stoilov also outlined the main directions of the alternative policy for Bulgaria – an active role of the state as a regulator, owner and investor, re-industrialization and technological modernization of the country. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the left government in the local government. “BSP is the first party to present its priorities from the election platform. The current leftist standards passed by Congress are close to people’s expectations. Each of our candidates for mayor or municipal councilor must express a public commitment to these standards,” said the representative.
A constructive discussion took place during the meeting, with all present united around the opinion that the party should return to its original values ​​- sincere camaraderie and greater empathy for the problems of others. “Great interests divide people. The world is changing in our favor and we must use it. If we accept now, we will continue to get bogged down,” explained the deputy chairman of the BSP.
During the day, Yanaki Stoilov also participated in the celebration of the village of Kapitan Dimitrievo, dedicated to the 139th anniversary of the outbreak of the April Uprising in this region. He also honored the celebrations on this occasion in Panagyurishte and the Oborishte locality.
Stoilov also attended the celebrations in the town of Strelcha dedicated to May 9 – 70 years since the victory over Hitler-fascism. A monument to Marshal Zhukov was also discovered there. “Thanks to Bulgaria’s participation in the anti-fascist struggle and in the second phase of the war, no territories were annexed from the country,” said the socialist. He called for peace to be preserved, political dialogue to be maintained to resolve conflicts, and the interests of the various parties to be respected peoples and civilizations. “This is the only way we will achieve justice and humanity for all people,” concluded Yanaki Stoilov.
