Sasang-gu announced that the 21st Sasang Riverside Festival, held in Samnak Ecological Park from October 12th to 13th, was a success.

The Sasang Riverside Festival, which celebrated its 21st anniversary this year, was held under the theme of ‘Embracing Korea’s future garden’ and is clearly showing itself as Busan‘s representative excellent festival, incorporating the wishes of Sasang-gu residents and Busan citizens for the designation of Samnak Ecological Park as a national garden. It worked.

In order to enjoy the festival in a more pleasant environment, the venue was moved from the Samnak Ecological Park Rugby Stadium to the Cultural Plaza, and the vision of Sasang-gu growing into Korea’s future garden city is shown through the sight of sprouts blooming in watered flower pots growing into green trees at the opening ceremony. The event opened with a sprout ceremony symbolizing the future of Sasang, a green ecological city, with a colorful and sensuous multimedia production under the theme of ‘Breath of Sasang, Garden of Ecology’.

In addition, they excitedly held an environmental concert to raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection, observed and experienced wetland insects and plants at the Sasang Ecological Experience School, and took pictures at the Sasang Garden photo zone, praying for designation as a national garden.

On another stage, there is the ‘Sasang Multicultural Expo’ to promote communication and harmony among foreign residents, multicultural families, and local residents, the ‘Youth Art Festival’ to express the dreams and talents of youth in the area, and the ‘Sasang Artists’ work to appreciate the works of Sasang artists. A variety of events were held that encompassed all residents of Sasang-gu, such as ‘Artists’ Street’ and ‘Pet Festival’ to spread companion animal culture.
