When Internet users learned her story, they did not believe that the young woman could be the mother of a 15-year-old girl. The 21-year-old quickly dispelled any doubts and explained that the teenager was her half-sister. The girls’ father is dead, and when the 15-year-old girl also lost her mother, Hunter couldn’t let her half-sister go into foster care. The young woman immediately took all the necessary legal steps and asked the court to give her custody of her sister, who was six years younger than her. In this way, she became the 15-year-old’s official guardian and replaced her mother.
