The 2023 Musical Cycle will offer several concerts this month of January, March, April, May and December to offer citizens a wide musical offer at the hands of the Pablo Sorozábal Professional Conservatory of Music, the Trumpeter of the Symphony Orchestra opens the cycle Chicago, Esteban Battalán

The 2023 Music Cycle, organized by the Pablo Sorozábal Conservatory of Music and sponsored by the City of Puertollano, will begin next Friday, January 13, with a concert hosted by international trumpeter Esteban Batallán, soloist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra who will visit the city of Puertollano and offer a masterclass at the Conservatory for several trumpet players from all over the country who will come to the city of Puertollano.

Batallán’s concert will take place at 7.30 pm in the main hall of the Pedro Almodóvar Auditorium and will be accompanied on the piano by Irene García, teacher of this Puertollan conservatory.

The second concert is scheduled for the month of March, on the 24th, with the Versionarte Ensemble composed of three members who will interpret versions by the Argentine composer Piazolla, it will be in the main hall of the Casa de Cultura.

In April, on the 19th, the magical concert of the musician from Quique el Mago, a violinist from Salamanca trained in Budapest and who will offer this show in two morning shows for schools and afternoon shows for the general public, will take place. In the Pedro Almodóvar Auditorium.

An educational concert will be held in May with various teachers from the departments of brass, woodwind, piano and early music. Finally, this cycle of music will close with a concert by the orchestra-band of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla-La Mancha.

This cycle of music, as explained by both the director of the Pablo Sorozábal Conservatory of Music, Rafael Ramírez, and the councilor for culture, Esther Mora, was born with a vocation for continuity over time to offer citizens a wide musical offer and cultural repertoire in different scenarios throughout the year that also aim to revitalize the cultural scene of Puertollano.
