Continuing the success of the past two editions, the Hong Kong International Automotive Expo (IMXpo) will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong from December 14 to 17, 2023, with opening hours from 11 am to 8 pm. As the largest exhibition this year, the Auto Expo will occupy four exhibition halls and have seven theme areas, bringing together about 200 passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles from different brands, origins and periods.
The exhibition is co-organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and the Chinese Culture Institute (CCI) to promote automotive culture, history, education and technology. Highlights this year include:
Supercar Zone
Showcasing a range of luxury and performance cars, including rare Pagani, McLaren Senna GTR, McLaren Elva, RUF CTR Porsche and Maserati MC20 GT2.
Motorcycle Museum
Special edition Vespa and latest Ducati models will be unveiled.
Parts, Accessories and Service Main Street
Provides a platform for automotive service providers to showcase their after-sales products.
Mainland China Electric Vehicle Pavilion
Showcasing the latest developments in electric vehicle models and technologies.
International exhibition hall
Featuring international automobile brands, the new products on display include MG Convertible Cyberster, Denza D9, Jikrypton 001 FR, Hongqi L5, HQ9, H9+, Tank 300, Skyworth SUV 620, Mercedes-Benz eActros, eEconic and Foton electric light commercial vehicles.
Hong Kong Automobile Culture Festival
It focuses on introducing classic Minis, Japanese modified cars and automobile maintenance museums. Twenty classic Minis were displayed at the event, including the 1968 MK2 Cooper S, the 1973 Clubman GT and the 1980 Mini Moke. It will also cooperate with the Hong Kong Auto Repair Traders Association and the Automotive Battery and Tire Industry Chamber of Commerce. Visitors can see some very historical auto repair equipment, parts and accessories up close.
IMX Parent-Child Carnival
Such as model car halls, international e-sports competitions, remote control car competitions,

IMXpo will also organize STEM workshops for local primary school students in the first two days, with 16 participating schools.
IMXpo will hold the Miss IMX contest again this year, with a final on the last day of the show to boost the show atmosphere. The Miss IMX contest will select the most energetic and dynamic contestants to become IMXpo ambassadors
In addition, the exhibition will also hold an international forum on “New Energy Vehicle Exports and Hong Kong’s Strategic Positioning” to discuss Hong Kong’s role and future challenges in supporting China’s electric vehicles to go global.
IMXpo will partner with the China Hong Kong Automobile Association (CHKAA) and ER Sports to host an inter-school STEM esports competition during the show, as well as another cup for professional esports drivers in the Asia-Pacific region.
It is worth noting that IMXpo visitors can visit the (Greater Bay Area) Hong Kong Schools Expo held at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 5 from December 15th to 17th for free.
