The three titles in the running are: Walk the night by Leila Mottley (trans. Pauline Loquin), paru chez Albin Michel, Real Life, by Brandon Taylor (trans. Héloïse Esquié), published by La Croisée, and Houston-Osaka, by Bryan Washington, released by JC Lattès in a translation by Laurent Trèves.
The winner will be announced during the festival to be held September 22-25 in Vincennes, Paris. It will be revealed in parallel in the magazine Page des libraires. Tickets for the festival will be available from August 23.
