The 2022 National Men’s Basketball League (NBL) season started in Nantong, Jiangsu on the 19th. Anhui Wenyi team defeated Shaanxi Xinda team 110:92 in the opening match.
There were two contests on the first game day: In the opening game, Anhui Wenyi’s team only established victory in the middle of the game, and in the end, five players scored in double figures. In another match, defending champion Guangxi Weizhuang team lost 103:119 to Shijiazhuang Xianglan team. In the first quarter, Shijiazhuang Xianglan’s team led by 11 points. Guangxi Weizhuang team was unable to narrow the points difference and eventually lost. Wang Ziqi of the Shijiazhuang Xianglan team scored 41 points.
There are 10 teams participating in the NBL League this season. The first stage of the competition will be held in Nantong from December 19 to January 13, 2023.
