The prototypes of the new Ford Mondeo Evos 2022 begin their tests in Europe, the third that the new crossover is seen and in a third world region after doing it in China and the United States. The spy photos barely show new details of the crossover that the Ford Mondeo has become, the first with a coupe look.
It is the third time that the new Ford Mondeo Evos 2022 can be seen in spy photos, after the first in China and the following in the United States, which we saw before the end of the year. Now, the future model has been seen in Europe, in the first winter tests in northern Sweden, more camouflaged than on the other side of the Atlantic.
The new Ford model featured vinyl-lined bodywork and an extra tarp at the back revealing the more stretched shape of the tailgate. In these new snapshots, the SUV does not leave a detail in view with extra camouflage. A very thin strip of LEDs is barely visible under the edge of the engine hood, and a second projector at the ends of the bumper for crossover and highway functions.

The camouflage covers the entire body, except for the roof panel that remains uncovered in the case of a panoramic roof, showing slightly open. The future Mondeo Evos will offer a more aerodynamic side design, thanks to the retractable door handles, and sportier than the glazed surface, with a lower edge of the rear window rising, at the same time as the upper one descending, joining in a third smaller fixed crystal.
Those of Ford have woven a more vertical structure in the rear part preventing the view of the new hatchback and its coupe shape, revealing a minimum part of the rear light groups on. A very sporty design and completely new on the outside, and also on the inside, with a large screen separated from the steering column and a touch screen occupying much of a more minimalist dashboard.
Ford Mondeo Evos expected to debut in 2022, and is put on sale the same year. The firm will offer a selection of electrified gasoline engines, and also part of the plug-in hybrids, with front and all-wheel drive to all four wheels. The future model will not have diesel versions available.
