The annual ball of the American Foundation of the Orders of Savoy
As every year, the Royal House of Savoy organized its ball in New York at the end of the year. The ball is organized by the American branch of the Orders of the House of Savoy, which is part of one of the 35 delegations of orders, located around the world. The American Orders of Savoy Foundation has a particular focus on humanitarian assistance in the areas of health care, emergency relief for victims of natural disasters, and cultural and educational programs.

Like last year, the charity supported by the American Foundation of the Orders of Savoy is the New York Foundling Association’s vacation camp program. The program aims to offer moments of relaxation during the summer to children living in centers or foster families. Last year, the Maison de Savoie ball raised $ 130,000, as the Foundation announced in its press release. Due to the health crisis, $ 50,000 went to the development of a recreational platform to experience home entertainment for these young people and the remaining $ 80,000 was used to finance a summer camp that took place in the summer of 2021. .
The foundation’s festivities kicked off on Friday, December 10, with guests greeted at the Lotus Club in the evening. The next day was the big ball at the Metropolitan Club.
