On Saturday the 9th, another day of the 1st South Pampean Theater Festival will be held in Doblas, which began on August 19 and will continue until September 17, with the organization and production of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Doblas and the support of the “Always Democracy” plan of the National Theater Institute (INT) La Pampa.
On this occasion, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cultural Center, there will be a presentation “Academy Party” theater for inclusion and diversity of the Mar de Fueguitos Group. At 8:00 p.m. and in the same place, it will “The sisters”, of the Doblas Adolescent Theater Workshop. And at 9:00 p.m., at Casa de la Cultura, it will be the turn of “I liked to see you”, of the Walking Group.
At the Festival, “La Nona” and “Las González”, from the Vocational Theater Group of Toay, have already performed –with a good presence of the public. Also “Talle único”, one-person show by Ana Paula Lara; “Like so many stories”, from the Rolón Theater Workshop; “Jacinta’s birthday”, by Grupo Cualquiera, from Anchorena; and “El banquito de la plaza”, by the Emilia group, by Miguel Riglos. The functions are free of charge, accepting a collaboration from the public. The Festival began on Saturday, August 19, with the performance of “Spy on a woman who kills herself”, a work by Grupo Andar, winner of the 2022 Provincial Festival, with a good presence of the public.
THE FUNCTIONS THAT FOLLOW
Functions will continue as follows:
-Saturday, September 16, 8:00 p.m., Cultural Center. “Diario La Obra”, from the group made up of Sol Riscossa, Viviana Felice, Ana Paula Lara, Bárbara Maldonado and Carolina Vergara.-Sunday, September 17. Closing of the Festival. At 4:00 p.m. at Casa de la Cultura: Theater class/workshop open to the public, dictated by Matías Leites. And at 6 pm in the Cultural Center, “Juana and the mysteries of the Magical World”, children’s theater, by the General Pico Theater Group.
The Festival was launched in Santa Rosa on Thursday, August 17, at the Medasur Cultural Center, where the province’s Secretary of Culture, Adriana Maggio; the mayor of Doblas, Anelisa Gómez; Jesús Gallego, reference of Culture of Doblas; and Amparo Fernández, local delegate of the National Theater Institute.
