The conference also set up 8 key exhibitions, including the International Cartoon Originals Exhibition, the 30 Years of New Chinese Cartoons Special Exhibition, the Japanese Cartoon Collection Exhibition, and the Belgian Contemporary Cartoons Exhibition, with a total of 2,931 comic works from 29 countries and regions on display.
Among them, the 30 Years of Chinese New Comics Special Exhibition brings together the masterpieces of 70 representatives of Chinese new comics during the budding and development stages of Chinese comics, giving a panoramic view of the creative achievements of story comics in the 30 years since their birth in China.
At this conference, the original manga manuscripts and animation films of famous Japanese cartoonists such as Miyazaki Hayao will be on display for the public to see, including “Castle in the Sky”, “Demon Slayer”, “One Piece”, “Astro Boy”, Arale” and other classic works.
