Sigma’s sixteen, as well as the senior youth category, started the season with a victory. On Sunday afternoon, coach Tomáš Vasiljev’s players defeated their peers from Ostrava’s Baník in a prestigious derby.
Hanác took the lead over their rival in the 13th minute. They played a standard situation from the side of the penalty area. The Ostrava defense was unable to deflect the centered ball, and after several rebounds it reached the lurking Tomáš Pospíšil, who, without being attacked by anyone, beat the goalkeeper Baník.
The second goal was scored by Hanác Slezan in the locker room. First, in the half, they won the ball after a good attack and rushed into a fast break against an unformed defense. At the end of the event, Filo shot, which was caught by the Ostrava goalkeeper in a 100% chance. But the game continued, the ball returned in front of the goal, where Kubeš accurately directed it into the net with a first shot – 2:0 for Sigma.
He made the final score 3-0 shortly before the end of the match after Kunet’s pass for the Pařenica defense. Sigma defeated Baník and scored the first three points in the table of the Moravian-Silesian Junior League. On Saturday, the Hanáci will present themselves at Lišné in Brno.
