TF1 celebrates the 12th anniversary of 12 noon shots. For this anniversary, the channel went big with two weeks of specials. The 12 noon shots, it’s nearly 4,350 shows, more than 12,000 candidates – including 574 midday masters – and 15 million euros in winnings distributed in total. From this Sunday, 56 emblematic midday masters come to try their luck in the hope of being crowned “greatest master of masters” during a prime time, Saturday, July 9. “There are mechanical elements that will be completely different, explained Jean-Luc Reichmann. In the first five minutes of each bounty, there will be “the guillotine”, which will eliminate one of the finalists from the start. Each of the two evenings will also be an opportunity to open the show’s memory box, to rediscover funny or moving sequences and to relive the highlights.
“Even if you don’t win, I still love you”
On the set of the show, Sunday June 26, 2022, Julien, former Master of noon, was surprised to discover a tender message from his wife. “Hello my love! I’m making a little video to encourage you. I send you lots of kisses, I hope you will win, but even if you don’t win, I still love you. For me, you are the best my love. Heart heart, love love. I love you very very much !” To conclude her message, the baker’s wife slipped: “Know that it is better to mobilize your intelligence on bullshit than to mobilize your bullshit on intelligent things! To meditate… Big kisses my love, I love you!”
Touched by his wife’s message, Julien could not hold back his tears. “It’s love at first sight, these are things we hope for all our lives and here’s what… As I say, I won the lottery the day I met Julie, and then it went on every day. I love her like crazy, she knows it”, confided the Master of noon on the set. A beautiful moment of television.
