12-inch MacBook from now on a vintage product
The 12-inch MacBook appeared in 2015 and was a feast for the eyes in terms of design. Apple used a more compact design than with the MacBook Air, but nevertheless managed to provide the laptop with a Retina display. Incidentally, the laptop was also the first Mac that only had USB-C connections and thus distanced itself from things like the USB-A and HDMI ports. Something that was later adopted by the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro.
Despite the sleek design, the 12-inch MacBook was unfortunately not a success. The laptop was released in 2016 and 2017 still updated, but disappeared in 2019 from the assortment. There were rumors of an M1 variant of the laptop, but it has not yet appeared.
