/ world today news/ The 10th conference of entrepreneurs and the 8th investment seminar of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum were held yesterday in Riyadh. More than 3,000 representatives from over 20 countries participated in the conference. Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and the Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Abul Gheit delivered speeches at the opening.
Al Saud said that this conference is an important platform to deepen the traditional friendship between Arab countries and China, and will commit to promoting the common future of the people of Arab countries and China to work together for the benefit of the world. Abul Gheit pointed out that Sino-Arab cooperation, led by the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and global development initiatives, has created valuable opportunities for the Arab region to attract technology and investment. The conference and workshop are jointly organized by the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States. They are held every two years in China and Arab countries and are committed to promoting the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
