Good afternoon, and welcome to our interview with two esteemed guests today. We have Rania Youssef, a well-known actress, and Sara Salah, a fashion designer. We are here to discuss the trends and styles observed in the Cairo Film Festival. Rania, from your perspective as an actress, what do you believe is the role of fashion in film festivals? And Sara, as a designer, how do you incorporate cultural and societal norms into your designs for such events?
Rania: Well, I believe fashion has always played a significant role in film festivals, and it’s an opportunity for actresses to showcase their personal style while also promoting the film they are a part of. It’s a means of self-expression and can enhance the overall appeal of the event. Moving on to the outfits showcased in the article, there were a variety of styles observed. Arwa Gouda wore a floral long white dress, Rania Youssef wore a black and mauve cap-style dress, and Mona Mamdouh chose a heavy black dress with a cape cut. There were also some daring looks, such as Angie El Mokadem’s shimmering silver gown and Ghada Ibrahim’s black lace dress. As a designer, Sara, how do you design for different body types and personal preferences while maintaining a cohesive theme? And Rania, as an actress, how do you feel about taking risks with your fashion choices at such high-profile events?
Sara: Designing for different body types can be a challenging but rewarding process. I always consider the woman’s shape and size when creating a design, and I ensure that it flatters her figure while still adhering to the overall theme of the collection. As for preferences,
