The 10 kilometers of Angoulême smiles on the Ruthénois

If the track specialists, especially the young people, were deprived of activity last Saturday due to bad weather conditions, with the cancellation of the events which were planned in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, the “backpackers” of the Stade Rodez athletics took advantage of the windfall of the 10 kilometers from Angoulême to put themselves forward.

At the end of the winter season, the four riders in the blood and gold jersey seized their chances on the Charente event. They came back with very good times and flattering rankings. Teddy Fualdès took 25th place overall, finishing 13th as a senior in the time of 33’14. Julien Mélac completed the race in 34’16, 47th overall and 22nd senior. He was closely followed by Adrien Brayet, 48th scratch and 23rd senior in 34’19, personal best exploded. The 4th Ruthénois in the race was Raphaël Guibert, who finished in 119th place, also finishing 52nd senior with a time of 37’16, also setting his new personal best.

The winter activity is bearing fruit and the middle distance group will soon be reaping other very good results.
