Singer Britney Spears (40) wrote on Monday (December 27) on Instagram why fans cannot expect any new hits from her in the near future. Her family is to blame and she wants to punish them now.
New music was forbidden
In the long post, the American, who had no guardian since November, told how her family had kept her from the music. She would have liked to release new songs or at least remix old hits, but she wasn’t allowed to do that. “It was put on in such a way that I should fail, but I knew exactly what my fans wanted to hear,” said the mother of two upset. “It doesn’t make sense that there are specials on TV that show remixes of my songs, but the person who owns the music is told it can’t !!! They even remixed my sister as to why she was allowed to do I not do it then? ” For the musician, this looked very much like a plot.
Britney Spears feels humiliated
The 13 years of guardianship have left their mark on the artist. She feels humiliated by her family and this is also one of the reasons why she is currently not making music. “People have no idea about the bad things that have been done to me. All the things I had to go through! That scares me of people and business !!! They really hurt me !!! If I don’t make music now, then it’s my way of saying F **** You because my family has benefited from ignoring my real work. ” But all is not lost – in 2022 Britney Spears has set out to try things that scare her, and then maybe she’ll show up at a studio again to try to overcome her trauma.
