In Kuden near Brunsbüttel (Schleswig-Holstein), a thatched roof house burned down completely. The fire brigade came with 60 emergency services during the night and had to fight the heat and smoke with breathing apparatus. However, all buildings examined remained undamaged. The residential and commercial building was empty and nobody had to be rescued. Nothing is known about the extent of the damage or the cause of the fire.
