When it comes to the Galaxy S flagship phones, there has been a lot of discussion in recent years that Samsung has equipped them with different chipsets for different world markets. In the USA, Canada or Japan, these mobile phones are demonstrably more efficient Snapdragon from the American Qualcomm, while the rest of the world has to bite the slightly weaker Korean Exynos. The phones cost the same money, and in some cases the Exynos variants are even a bit more expensive. Because of this fact, customers are even upset that global petitions arise. Maybe they, too, will eventually cause that the largest mobile manufacturer in the world will change this strategy.
A former employee of the company, who is already behind several successful leaks, claims that in the case of phones from the series Samsung Galaxy S22 will be all models equipped with the expected Snapdragon 898 chipset worldwide. The primary reason is, of course, the poor situation around the production of processors. According to speculation, the South Korean giant has even bigger problems in this respect in the production of its Exynos 2200 than Qualcomm with its novelty, so it will use American processors globally. It would certainly be very nice news for consumers, but at the same time we can probably justifiably worry about having enough phones for everyone.
What is your experience with Exynos processors?
