Volunteer group Spartan Rewards request Immanuel Ebenezer also disbanded the group Jokowi volunteer Mania (Joman) after dissolution Ganjar Pranowo (GP) Mania.
The general chairman of Ganjarian Spartan, Guntur Romli, thinks that Ebenezer is no longer in line with Jokowi. He questioned Ebenezer’s steps since supporting the convicted terrorism case, Munarman.
“Noel should not only disband GP Mania, but also Joman. Because of that he is no longer considered worthy of being a supporter,” Guntur said to CNNIndonesia.comFriday (10/2).
Guntur said that Ebenezer had been out of step with Jokowi for the past few months. This indication was seen when Ebenezer was removed from commissioner of BUMN PT Mega Eltra.
He admitted that it would not be a problem if Ebenezer and his group withdrew support for Ganjar. According to him, the Ganjar volunteers were grateful for the decision.
“All the volunteers supporting Ganjar Pranowo are grateful. It’s like a thorn in the flesh has been removed. This boil has burst,” he said.
Contacted separately, Ebenezer was reluctant to respond to Guntur’s words. He even attacked Guntur with a track record in the 2019 elections.
“Candidates failed to comment,” Ebenezer told CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (10/2).
Ebenezer disbanded GP Mania and canceled supporting Ganjar as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election because it was deemed that the PDIP cadre had no ideas for developing Indonesia.
Ebenezer is an advocate who founded a number of volunteer groups. Some of them are Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Mania (Batman), Jokowi Mania (Joman), and Ganjar Pranowo Mania.
